Damir Urban is a Croatian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He made his first public appearance on the Rijeka rock scene at the age of sixteen with the band “La Bellona,” which he founded in 1984. In the band, he played bass guitar and wrote lyrics and music. In 1986, the band Laufer was formed, where he was the lyricist, co-composer, and lead vocalist. Laufer’s first album, “The Best of…,” was released in 1993 with hits like “Budi moja voda,” “Svijet za nas,” and “Lopov Jack,” which we eagerly await this summer at Orsula. In 1996, he released his first solo album, “Otrovna kiša,” under Izabela Records, recorded with the help of friends gathered under the name “Urban & 4,” with whom he still performs today.
