ANE PAŠKA / KoncArt / Soul Beauty Salon

KoncArt, an original performance by dramaturge and musician Ane Paška, brings to Orsula an evening on the boundary between concert and theatre.

Ane Paška holds a degree in Dramaturgy from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, as well as an MA in Film and Video from the Arts Academy in Split. Through her work, she continuously explores the space between theatre and music, developing a distinctive form she now brings together in the project KoncArt, performed on various stages across Croatia.

In her performances, the author combines singing, spoken word and vocal improvisation, accompanied by accordion, piano, guitar and cajón, creating a recognizable and authentic stage expression. The setting of this performance is Ane’s “Soul Beauty Salon”, a conceptual space where songs and short stories inspired by everyday life unfold. Blending humour, irony and personal reflection, the performance moves through themes of childhood, family, social stereotypes and contemporary life, expressed through vivid poetic imagery, metaphors and associations in which audiences can easily recognize themselves.
