ZORAN SINGS ARSEN/ A Tribute to the Dedić family

One of the most special evenings of this year’s programme brings a tribute to legendary singer, songwriter and poet Arsen Dedić, interpreted by an artist who deeply understood and shared his unique creative sensibility Zoran Predin.

In 2019, Predin selected twelve of Arsen’s songs and recorded them in gypsy-swing arrangements, collaborating with guitarist Damir Kukuruzović and the Django Group. The album Zoran Sings Arsen became the best-selling music release of 2020., while their live performances quickly turned into events not to be missed.

Through this project, Predin offers a personal and deeply thoughtful interpretation of Arsen’s work. Rather than imitation, he brings his own style and a new musical expression to timeless songs such as “Kuća pored mora”, “Moderato Cantabile”, “Ni ti ni ja”, “Imenom sam tvojim zvao”, “Pamtim samo sretne dane” and many others.
